Active Ownership Capital Previous Campaigns

At Schaltbau Holding AG, a €715 million component manufacture for the transportation industry. AOC participated in multiple capital raises and pushed for new directors. But Schaltbau’s financials subsequently deteriorated: revenue remained flat, earnings have fallen while the company is still not profitable.

Meanwhile NFON AG, a €89.5 million cloud-telephony startup that AOC funded in 2019 and still remains very involved with, owning nearly 30% of the company as of their latest ownership filing. NFON shares peaked near ~€23 in early 2021 but now sits at about €5.6.

Agfa‑Gevaert NV, a €127.4 million Belgium-based analog and digital imaging company serving the printing and healthcare sectors, has seen its revenues nearly halve since AOC’s founder joined the board in 2018 and, like several other portfolio companies, remains inconsistently profitable.

LPKF Laser & Electronics SE is a €166.3 million Germany-based supplier of laser-based solutions for the technology industry. Active Ownership Capital (AOC) has held an ownership stake in the company since 2020. Since AOC’s investment, LPKF has demonstrated financial results marked by middling revenue growth and ongoing inconsistent profitability. The company’s performance reflects a pattern similar to other portfolio companies, with revenues showing moderate improvement but profitability remaining uneven.
